Il s&rsquo;inscrit dans une dynamique de transparence, de redevabilit&eacute; et de participation citoyenne dans la gestion des ressources naturelles, en consolidant le r&ocirc;le de contr&ocirc;le, d&rsquo;orientation et de veille des d&eacute;put&eacute;s.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>Cette rencontre a permis aux parlementaires d&rsquo;approfondir leur compr&eacute;hension des conclusions du rapport ITIE 2023, en vue de soutenir les plaidoyers n&eacute;cessaires pour am&eacute;liorer la gouvernance du secteur extractif et faciliter la validation ITIE pr&eacute;vue en 2025.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>En saluant cette initiative louable, le Pr&eacute;sident de la Commission, Monsieur Babacar Ndiaye, a exprim&eacute; sa satisfaction de voir les membres de sa Commission mieux outill&eacute;s pour exercer pleinement leurs missions. It is part of a dynamic of transparency, accountability and citizen participation in the management of natural resources, by consolidating the role of control, guidance and monitoring of deputies.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>This meeting enabled parliamentarians to deepen their understanding of the conclusions of the 2023 ITI report, with a view to supporting the arguments necessary to improve the governance of the extractive sector and facilitate the ETI validation provided for in 2025.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>By welcoming this laudable initiative, the chairman of the committee, Mr. Babacar Ndiaye, expressed his satisfaction to see the members of his committee better equipped to fully exercise their missions. He reaffirmed the availability of the Commission to collaborate closely with civil society organizations, in order to build a governance of natural resources that are both more transparent, inclusive
