L’Assemblée nationale du Sénégal prend part aux travaux de la 31\u1d49 Assemblée régionale Afrique de l’Assemblée parlementaire de la Francophonie (APF), qui se tient à Cotonou, en République du Bénin, du 2 au 4 juin 2025.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
La délégation sénégalaise est conduite par Monsieur Mamadou Lamine Diaité, Président délégué. Elle comprend également :

Présidés par Monsieur Louis Gbèhounou Vlavonou, Président de l’Assemblée nationale du Bénin, les travaux ont porté sur trois thématiques majeures :
\r\n 1. Le dividende démographique en Afrique francophone,
\r\n 2. L’accès à l’énergie,
\r\n 3. La Francophonie africaine face aux bouleversements géopolitiques.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
Dans son allocution d’ouverture, Madame Amélia Lakrafi, Déléguée générale de l’APF, a salué le modèle démocratique béninois, soulignant son rôle précurseur dans le renouveau démocratique africain depuis 1990. Le Président Hilarion Etong a, quant à lui, appelé à une révision du règlement intérieur de l’APF en vue d’en renforcer l’efficacité et l’adaptabilité aux nouveaux défis.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
Monsieur Vlavonou a insisté sur la nécessité de renforcer la diplomatie parlementaire, particulièrement dans un contexte sécuritaire marqué par la montée du terrorisme et les instabilités régionales.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
La première journée s’est conclue par un dîner offert par le Président de l’Assemblée nationale du Bénin, dans une atmosphère conviviale favorisant les échanges informels entre les délégations. The National Assembly of Senegal takes part in the work of the 31\u1d49 Regional Africa Regional Assembly of the Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie (APF), which is held in Cotonou, in the Republic of Benin, from June 2 to 4, 2025.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
The Senegalese delegation is led by Mr. Mamadou Lamine Diaité, deputy president. It also includes: •<\/strong> Mr. Ismaila DIALLO, first vice-president, • Madame Mame Diarra Beye, • Mr. El Hadj Ousmane FALL, • Madame Ndeye Fatou Mane, • Mr. Abdou MBOW, • as well as Mr. Amadou Thimbo, secretary general of the institution.<\/p>\r\n\r\n Chaired by Mr. Louis Gbèhounou Vlavonou, President of the National Assembly of Benin, the works focused on three major themes: 1. The demographic dividend in French -speaking Africa, 2. Energy access, 3. The African Francophonie in the face of geopolitical upheavals.<\/p>\r\n\r\n In her opening speech, Mrs. Amélia Lakrafi, general delegate of the APF, praised the Beninese democratic model, stressing her precursor role in the African democratic renewal since 1990. President Hilarion Etong has, for his part, called for a revision of the APF's internal regulations in order to strengthen its effectiveness and adaptability to new challenges.<\/p>\r\n\r\n Mr. Vlavonou insisted on the need to strengthen parliamentary diplomacy, particularly in a security context marked by the rise of terrorism and regional instability.<\/p>\r\n\r\n The first day ended with a dinner offered by the president of the National Assembly of Benin, in a friendly atmosphere promoting informal exchanges between the delegations.
